Finance Manager
As Intrepid Travel continues to grow in Canada, we’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader to join our team and help shape the next stage of our growth.
As the Commercial Finance Manager, Canada, you will be a key member of, and business partner to, the President, Canada, and the Canadian Leadership Team. You’ll provide insightful reporting, planning, analysis, and commercial advice, helping the team make sound and confident business decisions.
You will be responsible for leading the Finance function across all aspects of Intrepid’s operations in Canada, from sales and marketing through to operational delivery. Success in this role requires resourcefulness and a high level of initiative, along with the ability to tackle problems in a methodical and logical manner while maintaining flexibility in a continually changing business environment.
We work in a 3-2-1 hybrid model, with three days in the office and two days working from home, including at least one office day on a Monday or Friday.
This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Toronto office on a hybrid basis. The salary range is $90,000–$105,000 CAD, depending on experience, plus great benefits and excellent perks.

Current CPA or Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)

5+ years' experience in a similar role, particularly with exposure to both sales and operations

Experience in business performance reporting and planning, with demonstrated commercial and business acumen, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams

Experience with Canadian tax, payroll, and regulatory compliance

Ability to work in a geographically dispersed global organization, with stakeholders across numerous time zones

Passion for travel and belief in Intrepid Travel’s responsible travel philosophy

Understanding of and support for Intrepid Travel’s Purpose Beyond Profit ethos
