At Intrepid our purpose is to connect people to the heart of adventure, and our Technology Team ensure we have solutions to achieve this. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to collaborate with our global development team, product owners and various stakeholders to deliver real value, implement technical strategies and roll out new features and systems to deliver the best possible solutions, as well as improving current capability and efficiency.  

 

Working in an Agile environment you’ll work from idea through to completion on new features, changes to existing features, and entirely new systems working together with your developer colleagues, this will require excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. If you are someone who can align technological opportunities to business goals and develop solutions to automate processes, this role might be for you! 

 

This is a full-time, 12 month contract based out of our HQ on Collins Street in Melbourne, with lots of flexibility for hybrid working.  The salary range for this role will be $140-160,000 AUD, with benefits such as heavily discounted products for you and your close friends and family.

 

Ideally, you’ll bring with you experience in some of the following:   

  • 4+ years of significant experience as a Salesforce Engineer 

  • Extensive experience with modern Salesforce development practices in a commercial environment including with Apex, LWC, SOQL and other related Salesforce development technologies 

  • Good understanding of the Salesforce Platform capabilities and concepts like API, Metadata, Data Model and Data Security Model 

  • A good understanding of source code control systems and their use in Salesforce development 

  • Great communication skills and experience working with users from different parts of the business 

  • Computer science or Software Engineering Qualifications
