At Edge of the Bay, we are looking for a hospitality expert who thrives on guest satisfaction, connecting with nature and leading a fantastic team to deliver the ultimate experience. This Manager on Duty will play a pivotal role in the daily running of the hotel, overseeing all operational departments and contributing towards continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a real people person, proactive with the ability to be adaptable, and business partner across key stakeholders to influence and make decisions. 

 

You will be self motivated, enthusiastic, with a drive to grow the guest satisfaction at the hotel, as well as your own personal and professional development. You’ll be a team player with exceptional time management and organisational skills. But most importantly, you’ll align to Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth and responsibility. 

 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Have 2+ years proven experience as a Supervisor/Manager within a hotel or similar 

  • Passionate about leading a team to ensure high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction 

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly  

  • A flexible approach with the availability to work weekends, holidays and nights when needed  

  • Hold a First Aid Certificate and RSA
