We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

Escape to the outback and become part of something truly extraordinary at Arkaba Homestead. We’re looking for a passionate and personable Lodge Attendant to join our team, delivering unforgettable guest experiences in one of Australia’s most spectacular luxury wilderness destinations. From welcoming guests on arrival to preparing beautiful dining spaces and supporting immersive outdoor experiences, this is a hands-on role where no two days are the same.

Working across our luxury homestead and remote camp experiences, you’ll help create a warm, seamless and detail-driven stay for every guest. You’ll assist with guest relations, food and beverage service, housekeeping, outdoor lodge presentation and even accompany guides on sunrise or sunset experiences to deliver meals and drinks in breathtaking locations. If you thrive in hospitality, love working in nature and enjoy creating meaningful guest connections, this is an incredible opportunity to combine luxury service with adventure.

We’re seeking someone ideally who is local to South Australia, with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for hospitality. A current RSA, Driver’s Licence and First Aid/CPR certification are essential. In return, you’ll have the chance to work within a close-knit team, immerse yourself in the beauty of the Australian outback and be part of a business passionate about conservation, guest experience and authentic travel experiences.

This full-time, permanent position is based on-site in the breathtaking Flinders Ranges of South Australia, and you will receive free on site accommodation plus a monthly $500 food allowance as part of your benefits!

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:

  • Experience as a hands-on all rounder who has worked in high end accommodation previously

  • Fantastic communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work well both in a team and independently

  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills

  • Passion for hospitality and providing a guest first experience
