Do you want to create a welcoming and comfortable stay for guests in one of Australia’s most unique rainforest environments? We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant at Daintree Ecolodge, someone who will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and comfort of guest accommodation and resort facilities. From preparing guest rooms and replenishing amenities and linen to assisting with laundry and keeping housekeeping areas organised, you’ll be responsible for making sure everything is looking perfect.

We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisation and time management skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You’ll also play a part in supporting the lodge’s sustainability commitments through practices such as linen reuse, recycling and responsible use of water and cleaning products, so being passionate about the environment is a must!

This is a casual, part time contract on-site at the Daintree Ecolodge, and you must have your own accommodation locally as we are unable to provide any on-site for this opportunity.

Some of the experience you bring might include:

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

  • Positive attitude with clear and respectful communication skills

  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistent standards

  • Good level of physical fitness to be able to undertake daily activities

You’ll be a natural communicator and support your team and staff around you, but most importantly you’ll align with our core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.
