The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Our Global Public Relations and Communications team is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and curious individual who is passionate about creating positive change through the joy of travel. As Global PR Specialist, you’ll help power the engine behind our PR strategy, supporting the development and delivery of our global PR calendar and strengthening Intrepid’s position as the best travel company for the world. 

 

This is an important role in the Global PR team, supporting the development of press releases and pitch assets and working closely with our product, purpose and marketing teams to bring new trip launches and initiatives to life. You’ll also play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the function, from managing reporting and coordinating press trips to processing invoices and helping to keep press projects running smoothly. 

 

With strong writing skills and sharp attention to detail, you’ll help bring Intrepid’s stories to life across a fast-evolving media landscape and contribute to campaigns that showcase the impact of responsible travel. If you're a passionate communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is eager to grow your experience across PR and travel, we’d love to hear from you.   

 

This is a full-time permanent position based out of our Head Office on Collins Street in Melbourne, with lots of flexibility in our hybrid working model.  

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include:     

  • 3+ years media relations and communications experience 

  • Passionate storyteller with the ability to develop compelling and newsworthy narratives and of course excellent written and verbal skills 

  • Some knowledge of the travel industry and travel media 

  • Foundational understanding of how to work with consumer-facing media outlets 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work towards tight deadlines
