We are Intrepid

The world needs more Intrepid people:

It’s an exciting time to join Intrepid as we continue to grow our Accommodation portfolio and expand the way we connect travellers with unforgettable stays. We’re looking for a Reservations Agent to be the go-to expert for our hotel bookings, supporting guests from first enquiry through to check-out. You’ll play a key role in delivering seamless, end-to-end reservation experiences that reflect Intrepid’s commitment to thoughtful, responsible and memorable travel.

As the face of Intrepid’s hotel portfolio, you’ll ensure every interaction is personal, efficient and genuinely welcoming. You’ll guide guests with confidence, manage bookings with care, and ensure our high standards of quality and service are met at every touchpoint. Above all, your focus will be on making guests feel supported throughout their journey, so they walk away knowing their stay, and their experience with Intrepid as a whole, was something special from start to finish.

We have two roles available: one fixed term contract, and one full-time permanent position, that will both operate on a hybrid basis out of our head office on Collins Street in Melbourne. To provide the best experience to our customers, this role may need to be slightly flexible to encompass occasional weekend work.

Some of the experience you have may include:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in hotel reservations or sales support within accommodation

  • Experience in front facing customer service roles, with excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of accommodation booking systems

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational capabilities

  • Collaborative and a team player, with a guest first approach

  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
