The world needs more Intrepid people: 

This role supports the Operations Director in managing the successful and profitable delivery of private group and independent passenger trips for Intrepid brands and external clients. Responsibilities include providing day-to-day managerial and administrative assistance, aiding in the recruitment, training, and management of Tour Leaders, and ensuring adherence to Intrepid's safety, conduct, and Responsible Travel policies. Additionally, the role involves actively monitoring trip quality, addressing on-ground issues, and upholding operational standards to deliver exceptional travel experiences. 

 

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Denver, Colorado.     

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Extensive travel experience in North America (desirable) and a passion for travel 

  • Travel industry work experience, particularly as a Trip Leader with priority given to those with experience in Intrepid brands and/or other adventure travel companies 

  • Experience in a managerial position and proven ability to successfully motivate and influence others to achieve agreed objectives 

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)  

  • Experience in administrative tasks with solid skills in Microsoft Office including word and excel 

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, paired with initiative, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
