Intrepid Travel is a global leader in sustainable, experience-rich travel, and we’re looking for a Contracting Assistant to join our team. If you have a passion for travel and some experience in supplier coordination, reservations, or contracting, this could be the perfect role for you! 

 

Reporting to the Contracting Manager, you’ll support the sourcing and management of suppliers for accommodation, transfers/transportation, and activities within North Europe. You’ll assist with contract administration, supplier communication, and ensuring our trips offer incredible experiences while remaining commercially sound. If you’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and keen to develop your career in travel contracting, we’d love to hear from you! 

 

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, ideally based in the UK or Ireland. Office attendance will depend on location - those near London will be expected to visit occasionally, while those further afield may have more flexibility. Occasional travel to Denmark will also be required to meet with the team. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Some experience in contracting, reservations, or product coordination within the tourism industry, ideally with a focus on North Europe. 

  • An interest in supplier negotiations, pricing, and travel-related contracts. 

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proficiency in travel systems such as Travel Studio, Elements, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. 

  • A passion for travel and delivering exceptional experiences.
