The world needs more Intrepid people: 

We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Contracting Manager with strong UK destination knowledge to help us create experience-rich, responsibly operated adventures.  

 

Working alongside our Contracting Manager, you’ll play a vital role in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers - particularly accommodation, transfer and activity providers - securing the best rates, and contributing to new product development across the region. From trip budgeting to building great relationships, your work will directly shape how our travellers experience these iconic destinations. 


This is a full-time, permanent role that operates remotely from either the UK or Ireland. If you’re based near our London office, you’ll occasionally be expected to attend in person in line with our flexible working policy. Occasional travel to Denmark may also be required. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Broad contracting experience and supplier knowledge across the UK, with additional deeper knowledge of Scotland and/or Ireland in particular would be advantageous 
  • Proven skills in negotiating rates, pricing, and managing supplier contracts, particularly with accommodation, transfer and activity providers
  • Understanding of trip operations and travel industry dynamics in the UK/Ireland region 
  • Confident in analysis and reporting, especially using Excel and reservations systems 
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams across locations and cultures
