The world needs more Intrepid people: 

 

As a Sales Consultant, you will work with booking systems to manage bookings and confirmation with suppliers for accommodation, transportation and all activities relevant to our trips. You will ensure that all booking information is recorded in our reservation system, with accurate costs and updates. You will support the Sales/ Customer Service and Reservation teams in their daily operations, providing timely feedback and alternatives where appropriate. Your excellent communication and coordination will contribute to providing the best travel experience! 

 
This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.  

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you will include: 
 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in travel or hotel reservations 

  • Diploma/ Degree related to Travel & Tourism 

  • Hands-on experience with reservation processes and travel operations 

  • Excellent systems knowledge and the ability to learn new systems easily 

  • Strong destination/ regional and local travel knowledge 

  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external clients 

  • Basic financial acumen; understanding of costs, margins and mark up.
