Intrepid Travel’s origin story is all about creating unforgettable memories via affordable travel for everyone. Now, we need a Reservations Assistant to support our customers to make their travel dreams come true! 

 

In this role, you’ll assist our destination management operations, ensuring seamless bookings with suppliers of accommodation, transportation and trip activities. You’ll manage the accuracy of budgeted costs, booking records and other logistics within our Sri Lankan DMC. You’ll collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams, and make sure our customers receive excellent service. You’ll also bring fresh ideas to tackle cost and reservations issues, while providing follow-up support for all bookings.

This is a full-time contract position of 12 months, based in our Colombo office. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. 

  • Excellent organisational and task-prioritisation skills. 

  • High attention to detail, with proven ability to complete work accurately within tight deadlines. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

  • Familiarity with the travel industry and prior experience in DMC reservations is desirable.
