As Operations Manager, Sri Lanka, you’ll be at the heart of bringing Intrepid adventures to life across the region. Your role will be critical in ensuring that every trip runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with our commitment to both quality and profitability. Your responsibilities will include everything from strategic operational planning, logistics to the recruitment, training, and management of our incredible team of local Tour Leaders.

You’ll also serve as the key connection point between Intrepid Brands, our on-ground leaders, and the Sri Lanka-based DMC team — ensuring every experience meets the Intrepid standard of excellence.

This is a full-time on-site permanent position based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a DMC operations management role (including experience liaising with Tour Leaders) or equivalent experience as an Intrepid Leader.  
  • Extensive travel experience in Sri Lanka and a passion for travel. 
  • Strong understanding of the qualities that make a great Tour Leader. 
  • Fluent in English and the local languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • History of managing administrative responsibilities with a strong, hands-on approach. 
  • Proven ability to implement, monitor and uphold company policies and processes.
