The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Ensure our travellers have the trip of a lifetime as an Operations Assistant! You’ll provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and Deputy Operations Manager for the successful operation of our trips in Sri Lanka. In this diverse role, you’ll handle pre-tour documentation, updating files for Tour Leaders, checking inventory stocks and coordinating with suppliers among other varied tasks! You'll also support in leader training programs and day-to-day trip operational queries. 
 
This is a full-time contract position of 12 months, based in our Colombo office, requiring some flexibility in work hours due to the operational nature of the role.  
To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.  
 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Good travel experience in Sri Lanka and knowledge of our region. 

  • Amazing customer service, organizational and time management skills 

  • Prior experience in an operational or administrative position 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Proficient in MS Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook 

  • Good understanding of the operational function of a trip in a destination management company, including communicating with tour leaders and ensuring trips go according to plan
