In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, fully responsible for Intrepid DMC’s financial ledger and general accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, bank journals, payroll, and management reports. 

As a key member of the management team, you’ll bring financial expertise to help shape the company’s future. Collaborating closely with the Leadership team, you’ll offer crucial financial insights to support new projects. You’ll also empower teams by providing financial training, ensuring we remain compliant and adaptable.

This is more than a numbers role—you’ll be a trusted advisor, ensuring financial integrity while driving compliance and innovation across the business!

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Colombo office.

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • A degree in Accounting or full qualification in CA/ACCA. 
  • 3+ years' experience in a managerial position in an accounting or finance role. 
  • High commercial acumen in driving performance.
  • Previous experience in a destination management company, travel company, or tourism business is highly desirable. 
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential, with hands-on experience in accounting software like D365. 
  • You’ll also have a high level of integrity coupled with strong communication and organisational skills.
