As part of the Intrepid Colombo Finance Team, you'll be responsible for completing important accounting tasks. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the team, providing support and maintaining strong relationships with both external and internal customers and employees. You'll play a crucial part in assisting management to achieve efficient and effective outcomes. Key responsibilities will include general accounting, preparing management reports, general ledger postings, balance sheet reconciliations, handling prepayments and accruals, handling fixed asset related work, bank reconciliations, FX revaluation process, key month-end tasks as well as other project and ad hoc requests. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position, operating out of our office in Colombo. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.   

 

A bit about you: 

 

  • Graduate in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification 

  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance role 

  • Competent in Excel and other Microsoft Office products 

  • Experience in use of accounting packages mandatory 

  • Previous use and experience in Microsoft D365 would be advantageous
