The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Intrepid Travel is seeking a dynamic People Partner to support our teams and leaders across West Europe. Based in our Valencia office on a hybrid model (2–3 days per week in-office), this is a varied and hands-on generalist role covering Spain, Italy, Portugal, and France. 
 

You’ll play a central role in supporting managers and teams across West Europe - acting as a trusted advisor who helps leaders get the best out of their people. This is a hands-on role, balancing day-to-day HR delivery with longer-term initiatives to strengthen performance, engagement, and compliance across the region. 

 

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Partnering with teams and managers on recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a great experience for new starters 

  • Managing compliance and employee relations matters, including contracts, disciplinary processes, and statutory reporting 

  • Coaching and equipping managers with tools and systems to optimise team performance 

  • Driving engagement through initiatives such as local company days and seasonal events 

  • Partnering with global colleagues to roll out consistent policies, initiatives, and best practice 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:  

  • 3+ years’ experience in a broad HR generalist role, ideally across Spain, Italy, Portugal, and France 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience 

  • Strong employee relations experience, including work with trade unions and bargaining councils 

  • Fluent English and Spanish (additional languages such as Italian, Portuguese or French would be highly desirable) 

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance in West Europe 

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, with excellent attention to detail 

  • Organised, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach, influence, and build trust at all levels
