Intrepid is a leader at providing sustainable experience rich travel to travellers all over the world, and in this brand-new role, you’ll have the opportunity to influence that.   

 

As a Contracting Executive, will be part of the destination expert team within the DMC to provide support and assistance to the Contracting team in key administrative contracting tasks and in sourcing and managing suppliers within the region, managing trip profitability, contract negotiations, researching alternative service providers and helping to develop new product. 

 

This position is a full-time 12-month fixed term contract, located in Lisbon, Portugal on a hybrid basis.  
 
We are open to candidates outside of Lisbon, who may wish to work remotely, however the preference is for the successful candidate to be within a commutable distance of Lisbon. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:  

Knowledge of regional trip operations, preferably of small group adventures 

Experience in the tourism industry, in contracting/reservations/product, sourcing and supplier management 

Experience in working with a Destination Management Company and tourism suppliers, including cost negotiation. 

Understanding of how to create commercially viable sustainable, experience-rich travel experiences, from accommodation, transportation, activities, and meal components will be an advantage  

Fluency in English and at least one other European language
