The world needs more Intrepid people: 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional travel experiences and ensuring operational excellence? Intrepid Travel is looking for an Operations Partner to work closely with our network of Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and third-party operators. In this role, you will ensure that company goals relating to safety, quality control, and customer feedback, as well as operational best practices, are met and sustained. 

 

The Operations Partner plays a key role in developing operational staff, monitoring performance, and taking proactive steps to address any safety or quality issues. You will also contribute to a variety of operational projects, working alongside the Intrepid Safety team to implement safety initiatives and collaborating with the Leader Engagement Partner to design, maintain, and deliver training materials for Leaders around the world. 

 

In addition, the Operations Partner may act as a subject matter expert on cross-functional projects that support Intrepid’s strategic goals, providing insight and guidance to help drive continuous improvement across the business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is motivated by ensuring excellence in operations and delivering outstanding experiences for employees, tour leaders and customers. 

 

This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Lima, Peru. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Operations and/or relevant business experience 

  • Project experience 

  • Experience in engaging, motivating and developing others within a cross culture context.  

  • An understanding of foreign cultures and business etiquette  

  • Proven ability to proactively roll-out processes and systems 

  • Strong commercial acumen 

  • Understanding of the global travel market, particularly adventure travel 

  • Experience in onboarding / training is an asset
