The world needs more Intrepid people: 

The Finance Trainee is responsible for executing tasks related to data entry, analysis of accounting accounts to ensure the accuracy of balances in the accounts that make up the financial statements, including the obligation to record daily transactions and assist in the preparation of reports for decision-making in the area. 

  

Among their duties, the Accounting Trainee supports the Finance Accountant in the necessary tasks to achieve the department's and the company's objectives and goals, contributing to the fulfilment of monthly, annual, and/or local and headquarters-required deadlines. They will also perform the duties inherent to their position within the process determined by the Finance Management. 

 

This is an Intern Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Lima, Peru.     

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Accounting Student 

  • Intermediate-level knowledge of taxation, including VAT (IGV) and Corporate Income Tax (3rd Category). 

  • Knowledge of the analysis and reconciliation of accounting accounts. 

  • Record of travel expense reports (trips), petty cash and administrative expenses (desirable) 

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. (desirable) 

  • Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. 

  • Intermediate-level English proficiency is desirable; advanced proficiency is an advantage.
