The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As a Contracting Assistant at Intrepid, you will be responsible for reviewing receipts issued by our tourism providers (accommodations, activities, etc.) that make up the products sold by Intrepid. You will verify that they comply with the applicable tax formality, that the service has been effectively provided, and that the amounts correspond to the negotiated prices. Along with this, you will load rates into the system, so that the information of the suppliers is accessible to everyone in the company and will assist the finance team in registering new suppliers. 

This is a full-time permanent position, operating out of our office in Lima, Peru. To provide the best experience to our people, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.    

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Experience in Purchasing, Costing, Logistics or Accounting 

  • Knowledge of accounting and taxation 

  • Experience typing information into Excel databases or performing administrative tasks 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook at an intermediate level. 

  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and English (Basic Level).
