At Intrepid, we believe travel is a force for good and as the Accounting Assistant, you’ll help uphold the financial integrity of a business committed to creating positive change. 

 

As the Accounting Assistant, you are responsible for performing tasks related to the analysis of accounting accounts to ensure the accuracy of balances that make up the financial statements. This includes recording daily transactions and assisting in the preparation of reports to support decision-making within the department. 

 

You will also support the activities necessary to help the department and company meet their objectives, contributing to the fulfilment of monthly, annual, and any deadlines required by local regulations or headquarters. In addition, you’ll carry out responsibilities specific to your role, in accordance with processes established by Finance Management. 

 

 This is a Full-Time Permanent Position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Lima, Peru.     

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Graduate in Accounting or Accounting Bachelor's degree  

  • Knowledge: VAT, Income and withholding Tax 

  • Experience in analysis and reconciliation of accounting Accounts 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 ERP (Microsoft Dynamics) or other, English. 

  • Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills  

  • Power BI & Big Data analysis, management & dashboards 

  • Proficiency skills in English is desirable, advanced level is an advantage
