As the Reservations Manager, you will facilitate supplier reservations and manage relationships throughout New Zealand while leading a team of Reservations Consultants and an offshore shared service team. Collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Operations, you will play an integral role in our team by overseeing suppliers, reservations, and costings to ensure the successful and profitable operation of all New Zealand trips. You will also be responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers to deliver quality services at competitive prices, working alongside the Contracting Manager, and leading the reservations team to drive continuous improvement in processes and policies. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position working on a hybrid basis out of our Intrepid New Zealand office in Auckland. 

 

Some of the skills & experience you’ll bring with include: 

  • Supervisory experience with a proven ability to lead a team. 

  • Extensive knowledge of New Zealand travel destinations and regional insights. 

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Understanding and passion for various travel styles, along with proficiency in a reservations system, ideally Tour Writer. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.
