Join Intrepid in Marrakech as our Deputy Operations Manager – Fleet and drive the future of adventure travel! Reporting to the Country Operations Manager, you'll take the lead in managing our in-country fleet, ensuring seamless operations for trips and transfers. From vehicle procurement and licensing to maintenance, route optimisation, and fuel efficiency, you'll keep our operations running smoothly while upholding the highest safety and regulatory standards. If you're passionate about logistics, sustainability, and delivering incredible travel experiences, this role is your ticket to making an impact with a global leader in responsible tourism. 

 

This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in our vibrant office in Marrakesh, Morocco.  

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Proven experience in fleet management, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and safety 

  • Extensive travel experience with a deep passion for the region and its cultures 

  • Prior experience as a Group Leader for Intrepid or a similar organisation, demonstrating leadership and logistics expertise 

  • Strong people management skills, with a track record of inspiring and leading teams 

  • Excellent office administration skills, ensuring smooth and organised operations 

  • Proficient in computer systems, with the ability to effectively train and support others 

  • Proven ability to manage crises and take decisive action to ensure the safety and well-being of others 

  • Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, with excellent communication skills
