At Intrepid, we’re global leaders in creating life-changing destination experiences. Our Sales Consultants play a vital role in connecting customers with unforgettable group and tailored trips! They are responsive, regional experts who are skilled at ‘wowing’ customers with amazing options, while achieving excellent conversion rates.  


As a Sales Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will attend to customer queries, sell optional trips and ensure seamless bookings. You will work closely with our contracting and reservations teams to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships with our travellers. 

You will also focus on understanding customer needs, creating personalised travel options, and converting enquiries into bookings, ultimately securing repeat business for us! 


This is a permanent, full-time position, based in our Kota Kinabalu office in Malaysia. 
 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 
 

  • 1-2 years' experience in tourism sales as a tour consultant, sales consultant, or similar role

  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail 

  • In-depth knowledge of regional and local travel destinations. 

  • Proficiency in using booking systems and following processes for great customer service. 

  • A degree in tourism would be advantageous but not essential.
