Are you ready to turn a traveller’s dream into a life-changing journey? As our Senior Sales Consultant, East Africa, you’ll craft tailor-made FIT itineraries that showcase the best of this extraordinary region. From the first enquiry to the final booking, you’ll be the go-to expert for our clients, shaping unique adventures that balance market trends, customer needs, and Intrepid’s philosophy of sustainable travel. 

 

You’ll bring your deep knowledge of East Africa to design and sell incredible trips, while supporting product growth and building strong client relationships. It’s a hands-on role, where you’ll combine sales skills, destination expertise, and customer care to help us grow FIT sales and cement DMC East Africa as a leader in the market. 

 

This is a permanent, full-time role based onsite in Nairobi. The approved salary for this position is KES 1,680,000 per year plus commission. 

 

Some of the qualifications and experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in tours and travel 
  • Strong knowledge of East Africa as a travel destination 

  • Significant experience in the travel industry, ideally adventure travel 

  • Proven background in sales, with confidence converting enquiries into bookings 

  • Experience designing and developing travel products/itineraries 

  • Fluent English skills (written and verbal)
