Product & Sales Manager, Jordan
We’re looking for a Product & Sales Manager who knows how to turn destination knowledge into market-ready, sellable trips — and who understands the commercial levers behind great travel experiences.
Based within our DMC, this role sits at the intersection of product, sales, contracting and operations. You’ll be responsible for researching destinations, sourcing and developing suppliers, building SERTs and creating priced group series itineraries that meet customer expectations, commercial targets and Intrepid’s global health & safety standards.
You’ll also play a key role in supporting sales activity by covering FIT and Tailor Made (TM) enquiries, working closely with Sales Consultants to scope, cost and confirm bespoke requests that align with our product offering, operational capability and margin expectations.
This is a commercially focused, hands-on role with real influence. As part of the DMC management team, you’ll bring fresh thinking to product development, support sales growth and margin performance, and work closely with regional teams, Sales Consultants and suppliers to deliver sustainable, experience-rich travel across all customer groups.
This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite in our Jordan office, working closely with local and global teams to deliver outstanding travel experiences.
Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:
- In-depth knowledge of trip operations, ideally within small group or adventure travel
-
5+ years’ experience in the tourism industry in a product, sales, commercial or operational capacity
-
Proven experience designing and pricing itineraries that balance customer appeal, safety, sustainability and profitability
-
Experience supporting FIT and Tailor-Made travel requests, working collaboratively with sales teams to confirm itineraries, pricing and feasibility
-
Strong understanding of how to source, contract and manage tourism suppliers, including cost negotiation
-
Experience working with DMCs and developing SERTs and supplier relationships within a destination or region
-
Confidence using travel-related systems (e.g. Salesforce, Travel Studio, Elements) and Microsoft Office, including Excel
-
Solid understanding of global travel sales trends and evolving customer expectations in-destination
-
Experience contributing to strategic planning and successfully implementing plans in a commercial environment
Please note: Over the Christmas and New Year period, we will be pausing active recruitment. You may experience a delay in communication during this time, but we’ll resume reviewing applications in early January. Thank you for your patience.
