At Intrepid, we believe every great adventure begins with thoughtful planning - and that’s where you come in. As a Reservations Manager, you'll lead the Reservations team and deliver service-level excellence for our Japan country office!

In this role, you'll manage bookings with suppliers of all accommodation, transportation and activities required for external group series and FIT trips. You’ll continually enhance our reservation processes, ensuring accurate reservation details for our suppliers and leaders. You'll also advise great alternatives for any costing or booking changes.

This role is more than just reservations; you’ll have a chance to connect with all teams in the country office, collaborating to deliver prompt solutions every time. Making use of your leadership skills, you’ll develop and mentor a talented team, fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work.

This is a full-time permanent position, where you will work in our office in Osaka, Japan. To provide the best experience for our people, this role would operate in our office with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Certified Travel Supervisor qualification. 
  • Experience working in the travel industry/ tour operators or travel agencies.
  • Previous supervisory experience, including leading and developing a team. 
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing and reservations processes. 
  • Strong knowledge of local and regional travel destinations. 
  • Fluency in Japanese and English. 
  • Excellent organisational skills.
