Imagine a network of local friends around the world—people you can call on in any city to reveal the hidden secrets of their hometown, take you for cocktails at their favourite spots, or share a meal in their kitchen. That’s Intrepid Urban Adventures. Our guides are a global community of foodies, history enthusiasts, street art fans, beer experts, wine aficionados, and active adventurers, leading day tours inspired by their passions in cities around the globe. 

 

Intrepid Urban Adventures thrives on the passion, dedication, and local knowledge of over 500 guides worldwide. As part of this community, you’ll give our travellers the Best. Day. Ever. 

 

To be considered you must have:  

  • Excellent communication skills in English and the local language of the city you're applying to. 
  • Strong customer service experience, with an ability to connect with a diverse range of travellers. 
  • Exceptional local knowledge of your city, showcasing its unique offerings. 
  • Full rights to work in the city for which you are applying. 
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, Word, and Excel. 

 

What you need to know:  

  • We are currently recruiting for guides in Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Florence and Venice. 
  • This is a freelance contract position, which will give you flexibility in when and how you work however, great availability across peak seasons (May to June & September to October) is a must-have  
  • With lots of walking and activities, and engaging with travellers, so, it’s important that you are prepared both mentally and physically for the challenge
