The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As a Finance Manager at Intrepid, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the financial landscape for Intrepid! This position will give you the opportunity to bring your expertise and establish, then lead the financial, system and accounting function for Intrepid for East and North Europe. 


You’ll provide financial and commercial support to our teams, and work with our shared service centre in Marrakech.  You’ll collaborate closely with the global finance teams and be a key member of the Management Team, actively contributing to the strategic direction and success of Intrepid, driving the team towards achieving their ambitious goals.  
Some of your duties will include monitoring the company’s budget, working closely with management to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve company’s long-term objectives. You’ll also handle the preparation of relevant financial reports using analytical skills and collaborate closely with consultants to ensure accounting and tax compliance.  


This is a full-time permanent position, located in Zagreb, Croatia with the ability for some flexibility for hybrid working. 


Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.  
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis techniques. 
  • Experience and knowledge of complex accounting packages. 
  • Practical general finance and accounting experience in Croatia (international experience also advantageous). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (other languages also advantageous).  
  • Experience working in the travel industry is desirable, but not essential.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
