The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As a Sales Manager, you’ll impress direct customers with amazing destination options and achieve excellent quote-to-purchase conversion rates!

You’ll manage a high-performing Sales team focused on every aspect of the customer experience. From follow-through to securing the sale, the team is responsible for a seamless booking-to-departure process. With your guidance, your team will excel at building customer-centric itineraries, while selling bookings for group and tailored FIT trips.

In this role, you’ll guide the team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. You’ll also have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of valued clients, overseeing their trips.

This is a full-time contract position of 2 years, based in our Beijing office, requiring some flexibility in work hours due to the operational nature of the role. 

Some of the essential experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Previous supervisory experience, including leading a team to sales success through coaching and training. 
  • Significant travel industry or sales experience, ideally with developing adventure travel products. 
  • Proven track record in managing and reporting on sales targets. 
  • Strong destination, regional, and local travel knowledge. 
  • Fluent English communication skills.
