As a tour leader your days will be filled with creating unforgettable moments for travellers and showcasing the amazing things Australia has to offer, all whilst getting paid to do so.
You’ll be working alongside an awesome team in a company with guides at the heart of what we do, therefore providing industry leading training and fantastic development and growth opportunities. If you are someone who remains calm under pressure, has sharp problem-solving abilities with an ability to wear a smile to work each morning, we want you.
Every day will be different, but every day you will:

Drive a group of travellers around Australia, providing them with local information and amazing customer service, whether guiding a bike tour around Rottnest Island or leading a hike up Cradle Mountain, you’ll create memories our customers will never forget

Ensure the safety and well-being of your group, at times you will have to assist in difficult situations whilst remaining calm and professional. A traveller may lose their passport, need medical attention, or there may be a clash of personalities...you will be the first point of call

Host, lead and execute tours to budget, following the itinerary and fulfilling your administrative duties

You would make a great leader if you:

Have strong communication skills and enjoy bringing people together

Are organised, proactive and able to spin many plates under pressure

Have full work rights in Australia with a First Aid & CPR Certificate, a valid Passenger Endorsement/Accreditation and a Medium Rigid License (or willing to obtain)

Are passionate about showcasing the beauty of Australia, with strong knowledge of First Nations culture advantageous

Prior experience working as a Tour Guide is beneficial, but not essential!

This is a casual position, which will give you flexibility in when and how you work. We run tours all year round, so we are seeking candidates available for training in September with great availability thereafter

You'll be running, hiking and sightseeing on trips with some long days, lots of walking and engaging with travellers, so it's important you are prepared both mentally and physically for the challenge!
