Are you a hospitality expert who thrives on guest satisfaction, connecting with nature and leading a fantastic team to deliver the ultimate experience? At Daintree Ecolodge, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Manager on Duty to play a pivotal role in the daily operations, overseeing all operational departments of the hotel. 

 

We pride ourselves on customer experiences, and staying at our Ecolodge is nothing short of that, so you will have full insight into business operations and the opportunity to work with various departments to contribute towards continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be a real people person, proactive with the ability to be adaptable, and business partner across key stakeholders to influence and make decisions. 

 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Have 2+ years proven experience as a Supervisor/Manager within a hotel or similar 

  • Passionate about leading a team to ensure high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction 

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly  

  • A flexible approach with the availability to work weekends, holidays and nights when needed  

  • Hold a First Aid Certificate and RSA 

 

You will be self motivated, enthusiastic, with a drive to grow the Eco Lodge as well as your own personal and professional development. You’ll be a team player with exceptional time management and organisational skills.
