As our Hotel Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of the hotel operations. You’ll review and refine the day-to-day, ensuring every guest gets the ‘Intrepid Experience.’ You’ll collaborate with all functions from front-of-house service to behind-the-scenes logistics to ensure everything is moving like a well-oiled cog while keeping a sharp eye on revenue, cost control, and market positioning. 

 

This is more than just a management role - it’s about bringing the property to life, embodying our values and sense of purpose, and setting the tone for an unforgettable guest experience. Whether it’s fine-tuning operations, mentoring your team, or implementing new ways to enhance our services, you’ll be the driving force behind the hotel's success and subsequent growth.

This full-time, permanent position is based on-site near Freycinet National Park.

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in hotel management. 

  • Proven ability to manage guest experience and optimise operational performance. 

  • Strong leadership and people management skills. 

  • Good business analytics and financial management skills within a hospitality setting. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise and negotiate. 

  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
