The world needs more Intrepid people: 

As Global Digital Content Lead, you’ll be responsible for writing and editing world-class content to customers who engage with our website, intrepidtravel.com. Driving the delivery of our content strategy, this position requires a deep understanding of the relationship between writing high-quality content and its impact on digital growth. 

 

The Digital Content Lead provides strategic direction and editorial oversight across key digital touchpoints, ensuring content connects and engages. The role combines a passion for travel with expertise in content design, driving performance and enhancing the overall digital visibility of Intrepid Travel’s website. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position that will operate on a hybrid basis from our office in Melbourne, Australia. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a writing or editing role (ideally with a passion for travel) and tertiary qualifications in Journalism, English or a related field 
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including mentoring and developing content teams 
  • Proven ability to craft engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and strategic objectives  
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating across departments and presenting ideas effectively  
  • Strong capacity to manage multiple workstreams and balance a varied workload with competing priorities  
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver on strategic goals, combined with a keen eye for detail to ensure all content meets the highest quality standards and aligns with business expectations.
