As the Assistant General Manager, you will play an important role for the Daintree Ecolodge! You will get full insight into all business sectors, with a key operational focus. In this role, you will focus on the customer experience and operations, as well as providing assistance to the General Manager with strategy and measuring results. While you will not have direct reports, you will play a significant role in the recruitment, onboarding and development of the team, to ensure they are set up for success and that the Daintree Ecolodge runs smoothly and successfully! 

 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

 

  • At least 2 years experience in a hotel management or in a department head position 

  • Tertiary education (university, Tafe, college etc.) is preferred 

  • Thorough understanding of food & beverage services and costings 

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with guests 

 

You will be self motivated, enthusiastic, with a drive to grow the Eco Lodge as well as your own personal and professional development. You’ll be a team player with exceptional time management and organisational skills. But most importantly, you’ll align to Intrepid’s core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth and responsibility.
