The world needs more Intrepid people: 

The Accountant role is incredibly varied and flexible, as you will be provided with many opportunities to work across different areas of the Finance department at Intrepid.  

 

You’ll be relied upon as a key member of the team to provide reporting and analysis of Intrepid’s overhead expenditure, ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are completed within Group reporting deadlines, investigating and working with Country Finance Managers to resolve intercompany variances (P/L and B/S) and providing general support to the Treasury, Risk and Corporate Governance functions within the Finance team. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position based out of our HQ on Collins Street in Melbourne, with lots of flexibility for hybrid working. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Bachelor of Commerce or related tertiary Accounting Degree 

  • Currently studying towards CPA/CA qualification  

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in an Analyst/Accounting role 

  • Strong excel skills 

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, TM1, Power BI (desirable) 

  • Any other work or management experience, including within Finance or Non-Finance related roles (desirable)
