At Intrepid, we believe travel is a force for good, and as an Operations Manager, you’ll help drive the delivery of meaningful travel experiences while supporting the growth of a business committed to creating positive change. 

 

You’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of all trips across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil. This includes tours run under the Intrepid brands as well as those operated in partnership with external businesses—ensuring every trip meets company standards, policies, and our Responsible Travel principles. 

 

As the primary operational link between local offices, Group Leaders, the Intrepid Global Operations team, and Product teams, you’ll be essential in maintaining service quality, safety, and brand consistency. You’ll also contribute to strategic planning and provide leadership as a core member of the regional management team. 

 

This is a full-time, permanent role, operating remotely from either Buenos Aires, Argentina or Santiago, Chile. 

 

Some of the experience you’ll bring with you may include: 

  • Proven experience in operations management, tour leading, and team leadership. 

  • Extensive knowledge of adventure travel products and destinations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil. 

  • Strong crisis management and safety oversight capabilities. 

  • Excellent organizational and delegation skills. 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable. #LI-DNI
