As a Deputy Operations Manager, you’ll provide managerial and administrative support to the Operations Manager, handling day-to-day trip issues and on-ground trip organizing.

You’ll contribute to the successful operation of all trips across Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil. This includes tours under the Intrepid brands as well as those operated in partnership with external businesses—ensuring every trip meets quality and safety standards. 

You'll also support in effectively managing our Leaders and Guides, responding to operational queries and constantly collaborating with all stakeholders.

This is a full-time, permanent role, operating on-site from our office located in Buenos Aires.

Some of the experience you’ll bring may include: 

  • Proven experience in the travel industry, particularly in an Operational role
  • Extensive travel experience in the region with knowledge of adventure travel products and destinations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil
  • Good people management and coaching experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese proficiency is highly desirable 
  • Amazing organizational and administrative skills  
  • Relevant tourism qualification would be desirable.
