Deliver exceptional customer experiences and share your love of travel every step of the way - whether that’s leading a morning market walk, arranging a local craft workshop, or hosting a home-cooked meal with a family. You’ll help create moments that stay with our travellers long after the trip ends.

Prioritise the safety and wellbeing of your group. You’ll stay calm and professional when challenges arise - from lost passports and medical needs to group dynamics - ensuring travellers feel supported the entire time.

Lead and manage trips in line with itineraries and budgets, while completing all required trip administration accurately and on time.

To be considered you must have:

Excellent communication skills in English and Italian.

Proven experience in customer service, with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with travellers from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds.

First-hand travel experience in Italy and across Europe, and a genuine passion for sharing these regions with others.

Basic computer skills, including confidence using email, Word, and Excel.

Full rights to work in Italy and within the European Union.
What you need to know:

This is a freelance contract position, which will give you flexibility in when and how you work however, great availability across peak seasons (May to June & September to October) is a must-have (at least 3-4 trips in June and September Peak).

We are recruiting for leaders with in-person training and onboarding in March 2026 - specific dates to be given at interview.

With extended hours, lots of walking and activities, and engaging with travellers, so, it’s important that you are prepared both mentally and physically for the challenge!

You’ll need the ability to travel and spend time away from home, as our leaders often travel for extensive periods at a time as some tours can span up to four weeks.
